Helen Moses

Where are you from?

I was born in Lincolnshire, met my husband Steve in London and
moved to the Midlands to be students at Covenant College (bible
college).

Why are you in Loughborough?

We moved here to be part of Kings Church after two years of
helping to ‘pioneer’ a new church family in Nottingham.

What is your heart for King’s Church?

That each person will find joy in following Jesus and loving Him
because they discover how much He loves them. That we will all
play our unique part, using our gifts and talents in the community
and showing other people how to be part of God’s family. That we
will be bold and adventurous, allowing the Holy Spirit to change our
thinking and how we do things, bringing His ideas and flavour to
every part of the world.

Tell us something quirky about yourself!

One of my favourite characters is Paddington Bear. I often take a
marmalade sandwich to work and when my family allow it, I
sometimes wear a hat!

Tell us about your family.

I live with a long-suffering husband in a ‘character full’ cottage,
with two terrific teenagers, four frenzied fish, a psychotic hamster
and a much loved but crazy cat called Forest Greenwood Moses.

5 words that best describe you.

Faithful, funny, resilient (“tough as old boots”), prophetic-gifting,
apostolic-heart.
