We are in the process of opening a not-for-profit subsidised pantry! The aim is to provide a sustainable and long-term solution to food poverty, particularly for those who are facing financial difficulties caused by the pandemic. Members will be able to spend a small amount of money but leave with plenty of food.
The vision is:
- To eliminate food poverty and holiday hunger
- To reduce food waste
- To offer practical and emotional support to all members of our community
- To treat everyone with dignity and respect regardless of race, faith, gender, status, nationality, sexual orientation or age.
The shop is well underway and we are currently stocking shelves and getting it ready for customers! Dates and shop opening times coming soon!
